Love Your Life Death was founded in 2014 by Yvonne Heath. In 2017, the #IJustShowedUp movement was created and together are creating social change. Yvonne has been a registered nurse since 1988 in the US and Canada and worked in most departments. She became disheartened by our society’s reluctance to talk about, plan and prepare for grief and life’s challenges and how it causes excessive suffering in life and at the end of life. She suffered too not knowing how to do it differently. Her new purpose?
Helping people to live life to the fullest, learn to grieve and support others and have “The Talk” about grief, life’s challenges and facing end of life, long before it arrives and diffuse the fear.
Teaching people of all ages how to Just Show Up for themselves and others, so they are empowered and resilient when grief and life’s challenges arrive is not something most people talk about. We usually wait until we are in crisis then try to navigate through. But, if we talk about, plan and prepare, BEFORE, we will suffer less—no matter what life throws at us.”
