Philanthropy with Shelli Vasser Gilliam

Philanthropy with Shelli Vasser Gilliam

This week’s theme: Philanthropy

When someone discovers an innate desire to assist others, it radiates from within and extends to the slopes and edges of the community. Philanthropy is the art of being mindful of more than just oneself and then acting on it.

Philanthropy is described as acts of goodwill. This desire all starts with being a volunteer. Opportunities to assist others will arise, and seizing them will provide a sense of accomplishment, empathy, and even gratitude. You are not only helping others but also yourself. Skills are developed. Relationships are formed. Leadership manifests itself. One evolves into a better version of oneself. This is just one aspect of a vibrant conversation with guest expert Shelli Vasser Gilliam.
