Guest Expert Kim Boriin:

Kim Boriin, CMP is developing a consulting firm in partnership with the hotel and hospitality industry. He has served as a Global Event Planner for 19 years for Guardian Life at their corporate headquarters in New York City. Managing enterprise wide events as well as for the wealth management team.

Prior to Guardian Kim spent 17 years in the NYC restaurant scene. Starting as a waiter, then cook while studying at the French Culinary Institute. In his first position as chef Kim was recognized by New York Magazine for the Best New American restaurant in 1992. As a restaurant consultant he opened four restaurants culminating as general manager for a 200 seat restaurant in SOHO.

Kim came to NYC as a dancer choreographer after performing with Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal. He spent a year as entertainment director for Club Med in, Mexico, the south pacific and the Bahamas where his team won the award for the best entertainment of 102 Club Med resorts.
