This week’s theme: Shifting
Everyone has gone through at least one painful experience in their lives. We’ve all been in that situation. Whether you’re dealing with despair, betrayal, feeling stuck in life, grief from the loss of a loved one, friends who are in problematic relationships, or you’re concerned about the future. There is something that happens that turns our world upside down.
However, it might be difficult to accept the truth of the situation and move on when memories of what transpired linger. But, by shifting our perspective, we may realize that we have outgrown them, just as we outgrew our shoe sizes. You have the ability to rise above life’s painful and challenging circumstances and thrive once again.
From Fear to Fire: Secrets to Overcome Fear, Embrace your Gifts and Achieve Success
This is the place where real people share real challenges. Where you can find a common bond and uncommon wisdom through their stories. Use tips from the breakthroughs of others to jump start your success. Speaker, author, adventurer, and host Heather Hansen O’Neill takes you on the journey from fear to fire. Today we talk about shifting our perspective when it comes to painful experiences.

Her personal experiences of loss, transition and triumph captivate, educate and inspire readers as she guides them to journal their own stories and insights in the self-reflection section of the book.
Ann is an Expert Contributor for YourTango Media and her relationship advice. She has been featured in MSN, Google, Yahoo, Apple News, and more. She is dedicated to waking people up to living their best life by helping them untangle from their past, heal their hearts, and align with their true nature.
Ann Papayoti has endured some of life’s most brutal blows—her college best friend deliberately stealing her high
school boyfriend; the loss of an infant child just shortly after he was thought to be out of danger, a belligerent and
abusive husband, a child born with epilepsy and other neurological disorders, a family suicide, being bitten by a poisonous snake that resulted in months of chronic illness before being diagnosed, relinquishing a cherished foster teen whose actions threatened Ann’s family, and much more…And despite them all, Ann found the gift hidden within each of these
experiences. The gift of choice in how to respond to the challenge.
In her new book, The Gift of Shift: Discover the Key Within to Unlock Your Best Life, written with fellow life coach Tracey
MacDonald, Ann uses many of these experiences to show how one can open that gift lovingly.
This almost empty-nester rises and shines each morning by teaching fitness classes before starting her work day with a loaded latte. Ann currently resides in charming little town near Dallas, Texas.
