Wayne Robinson:

joined FM Global 5 years ago as Assistant Vice President of Programs and Exhibits. He leads a team of 13 planners and multimedia professionals along with 3rd parties and production companies. He is responsible for over 130 company meetings and events annually.

His primary focus is developing strategy and ensuring execution of face to face and virtual meetings. Prior to joining FM Global Wayne served as Director of Field Meetings at Northwestern Mutual. And before that he had spent 14 years at Guardian Life Insurance Company in NY, where he headed up the Conference and Events Department.

Wayne works extensively with marketing, public relations, procurement, law, and the product and sales departments on business and incentive based programs. His department is also responsible for all graphics, videos, content, and presentations for meetings and tradeshows.

Wayne started his career in event management at AT&T where he served as Executive Meeting Manager and planned shareholder meetings, board of director meetings, and sales incentives.

Wayne studied Economics and Management Science at Kean University in New Jersey, and achieved his CMP certification in 1996 and CMM in 2016. He served on the Ritz Carlton Insurance Advisory Board, the MPI Executive Advisory Board, and many industry advisory committees. He is Past Chairman of Financial and Insurance Conference Professionals Association where he’s been a member for 20 years.

In his spare time Wayne loves to write, help local charities, and find time to visit warm climates with beaches and not a lot to do.
