Mary Dougherty
Mary Dougherty is the Co-Founder of a Connecticut nonprofit. Their mission is to combat misinformation and promote pro science policies and legislators. This entity has created a grass roots movement to champion science and the benefits to public health as well as the quality of life that accompany such policies.
She is also the Director and licensee for B.I.G. Connecticut. B.I.G. is a woman’s empowerment group that provides the inspiration, community and tools to propel their businesses and lives forward. As of now, B.I.G. is in Ridgefield, Mystic and Danbury Connecticut. Redding is set to launch next month.
The goal is to add strategic locations throughout the region over the coming months to empower entrepreneurial women with a local, regional and global network of like-minded, supportive members.
Mary is also a brand partner for an emerging premium athleisure line, Savvi. She is creating brand awareness and helping to launch the line while providing opportunities for women to start their own micro franchise.
